Atelier Diversis is authorized as a protected unit under Law 448/2006 by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection.

The protected unit is an autonomous economic entity, whose main objective is professional integration of people facing serious difficulties in the labor market.

An authorized protected unit is public or private economic operator, with its own management, in which at least 30% of the total number of employees with individual labor contract are disabled.

A protected workplace is a space adapted for the needs of disabled persons in a protected form of employment.

Tax incentives for protected units:

Employers with more than 50 employees who do not want to hire people with disabilities, may opt for alternatives offered by Law 448/2006 Art. 78 (as amended by EO 86/2008)

a) to pay monthly to budget an amount representing 50% of the basic salary minimum gross wage multiplied by the number of jobs provided by law for people with disabilities;

The formula for calculating the fine Monthly: 0.04 X 300 X number of employees.

b) to purchase products or services made by its work of people with disabilities employed in authorized protected units, based on partnership, in an amount equivalent to the amount owed to the state budget as provided in subparagraph a).
